Published in 2011, this book has 152 pages and approximately 250 black and white photographs. It starts with a selection of early Excelsior motorcycles, from the Carson family album. It moves on to cover Excelsior's major rivals on the race tracks of the 1920s and 1930s: Chris Tattersall Specials, Syd Gleave Specials, Dot, Cotton etc. There are sections covering a photographic history of New Imperial racers and the pre-War 250 cc Benelli. The book concludes with photos from the Norman Webb collection, including post-War paddock shots and rareties such as the DS Malterre and Nougier racers. Foreword by Bill Smith.
